The “A Million More Flu Shots” Coalition seeks to increase the year over year Influenza vaccination rate by 1,000,000 immunizations by donating 10 million communications to flu shot administrators to educate their patient populations through personalized, educational communications that emphasize the both the importance and ease of getting the flu shot. Influenza is a serious respiratory illness that is easily spread and can lead to severe complications and even death. 1 in 5 people in the United States contracts the virus each year mainly due to less than ideal immunization rates, especially among high-risk groups such as children, the elderly and individuals with chronic illnesses.
